Dung-Shiu Yu (He/Him)
Dung-Shiu Yu (余東栩) is pursuing a master's degree in Sociology at National Taiwan University. His diverse academic interests led him to earn bachelor's degrees in Sociology (with honors) and Anthropology from National Taiwan University. Additionally, he has obtained certificates from the Women's and Gender Studies Program at NTU, as well as Certificates in Social Research Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods issued by the Taiwanese Sociological Association.
Motivated by feminism, queer activism, and sociology, Dung-Shiu has dedicated his life to writing for feminist and civil society causes. He is currently a columnist for 辣台妹聊性別 and 七星燃眉立委觀測站. However, his most significant role is as a co-founder of 性別平等學生倡議連線 and 七星燃眉立委觀測站. In this capacity, he organizes public events focused on gender equality education and local civil society engagement, demonstrating his leadership and commitment.
